PEER REVIEW

All manuscripts are peer reviewed from an insider’s perspective

  • Editor selects reviewers from the Editorial panel to review each manuscript, if appropriate, a guest reviewer with specific expertise may be consulted
  • The peer review process is double blind, in that the identity of authors and reviewers is not known to either party
  • Articles may be accepted, returned for major or minor revision, rejected, or referred to another journal
  • Editor may make minor alterations to articles on his or her own initiative
  • Editor’s decision is final
  • Review process typically takes at least four to six weeks – longer when revision is necessary (revisions are often requested)
